The San Francisco City Services Auditor Division engaged Sjoberg Evashenk Consulting to audit the lease agreement under which Imperial Parking (U.S.), LLC (Impark) operates the Lombard Garage. Also, the audit included evaluating whether the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency’s (SFMTA) management practices and procedures adequately ensured that Impark complied with various lease agreement provisions. The audit found that, in general, Impark appropriately performed most parking garage activities at the Lombard Garage, in accordance with the lease agreement. However, that audit identified areas where oversight and contract administration could be improved.
